Walnut Street Theatre tickets & upcoming events

Looking for a place that’s got a bit of history and a whole lot of heart? Walnut Street Theatre in Philadelphia is exactly that. Established in 1809, it’s actually the oldest continuously operating theater in the United States, talk about a legacy! Over the years, it’s hosted everything from big musicals like Shrek the Musical in 2018, which brought a fun, all-ages energy, to classics like The Addams Family back in 2015, blending comedy and Gothic charm. The theatre isn’t just about the shows, though, the vibe you get from those flank boxes, sitting up close with a great view, really makes you feel like part of something special. The fore mezzanine is a favorite spot, offering an incredible view of the stage and all the action. Getting there is a breeze too, just walk east from the river trail towards the city center or hop on the 32 bus from the history center and get off right at Walnut. Whether you're a theater junkie or just looking for a fun night out, Walnut Street Theatre always delivers. Check out their interactive seating chart to pick the perfect seat and keep an eye on their ticket page for upcoming shows. Trust me, this place is a Philly gem that keeps you coming back for more.
